Eligibility Criteria

Dependents:
- F-2 Visa: Your spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 can accompany you to the U.S. on F-2 status.
- Restrictions: F-2 visa holders cannot work in the U.S. and must apply for a change of status to F-1 to attend school. However, F-2 children may attend elementary through 12th grade.
Steps to Apply for an F-1 Visa
- Obtain Form I-20A-B/ID:
- After being accepted by a U.S. school, you will receive Form I-20A-B from your educational institution. This form certifies your eligibility to apply for an F-1 visa.
- Complete the DS-160 Form:
